Driven by her passion for the arts and building inclusive creative spaces, Sara founded Charlestown Music and Art to expand those opportunities beyond early childhood—to kids, teens, adults, and seniors alike. Her goal is to make inspiring music and art education accessible to all.
Charlestown Music and Art is a natural evolution of her work: a community-driven space where people of all ages can connect through creativity, collaboration, and exploration.

Sara Wheeler – Creative Director
Sara Wheeler is a Boston-based musician, educator, and founder of Little Groove, a beloved early childhood music program that began in 2005. As a mother of two and a Berklee College of Music graduate, Sara created Little Groove to meet the developmental and emotional needs of babies and toddlers through music and movement.
